Safeguards

Provides state-of-the-art training and resources to improve the well being of vulnerable children, youth and families within the province. Safeguards’ goal is to strengthen the capacity of the children and adult service sectors in Ontario through the delivery of unique, leading-edge training based on the latest research, clinical developments, therapeutic approaches and best practices.

Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)

Accrediting body that sets benchmark international standards for quality in the field of human services. There are specialized, well-explained standards for aging services, behavioral health (mental health and addictions), employment and community services, and medical rehabilitation.
