Belleville, Ontario – March 22, 2024 – It is with gratitude for the journey that Quinte Children’s Homes (QCH), a Stevenson Waplak & Associates (SWA) company, announces it will be closing its doors on April 30, 2024 – after 25 years of dedicated service to children and youth in need across Ontario. Founded in 1999, QCH has been providing specialized therapeutic foster care services in a compassionate, caring and nurturing environment.
Throughout our years of operation, we have been committed to creating a difference in the lives of over hundreds of children and youth, offering them a stable home environment and the opportunity for a brighter future. Our unique model, centered around the concept of Parent Therapists, has ensured that each child in our care received not only the care and security of a family home but also specialized support to overcome their challenges.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all who have been part of this remarkable journey:

As we prepare to close, we reflect on the positive impacts we have made and the lives we have touched. The decision to close has not been easy, but we are proud of the work we have accomplished and the difference we have made in the community.
